5 Minutes Tops

5 Minutes Tops is a Shark Tank-style pitch competition for high school students at Waverly High School. There are also chances for them to compete regionally with their business idea. Students pitch their business start-up concept or their actual business in 5 minutes or less for a chance to win real money. Students pitch their ideas to a panel of community business leaders and entrepreneurs. The students have an opportunity to have help preparing their pitch with Mr. Konietzko starting in the early spring of each year. Any interested students should contact Mr. Konietzko at Waverly High School.

Every year Waverly 5 Minutes Tops is looking for business panelists. There is a small cost that helps to pay real money to the students pitching their business plans.

Any businesses or individuals that are interested in being on the panel please email Jeff Parks at jparks@waverlyk12.net for more information.
